Realme 1 vs Redmi 5 Price In India, Features, Specifications Compared

Realme 1 vs Redmi 5 Price In India, Features, Specifications Compared. After the exclusive and unique partnership between ASUS and Flipkart was announced last month, Amazon didn’t want to miss out on a strategy that involves designing smartphones for the Indian consumers.
The company started teasing a new smartphone brand named ‘Realme’, which sounds very close to the ‘Redmi’ word. Funny thing is that the ‘Real’ part of the word is colored in red (Red Real Mi, get it?) Is that just a coincidence or an intentional decision? Well, nothing will matter if the phone isn’t competitive with products from brands like ASUS, Honor, and Xiaomi.

The Redmi 5 price in India starts from Rs. 7,999. This price is for the variant with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage costs Rs. 8,999, while the variant of the Redmi 5 with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced at Rs. 10,999 in India.

the OPPO Realme 1 is expected to cost somewhere around the Rs. 15,000 mark in India. If this turns out to be true, the phone will be much pricier than the Redmi 5.

The Realme 1 will most probably be released with a MediaTek Helio P60 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, and up to 64GB/128GB internal storage. All phones have microSD card slots for storage expansion.
In terms of imaging, the Redmi 5 has a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, phase-detection autofocus, LED flash, and Full HD video recording.

The Realme 1 has a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with phase-detection autofocus, f/1.8 aperture, LED flash and Full HD video recording. The Redmi 5 has a 5-megapixel selfie camera and 1080p video recording.

The Realme 1 lacks this feature. The Redmi 5 has a 3300mAh battery, The Realme 1, on the other hand, will come with a 3400mAh battery. However, since it also has a larger screen with higher resolution, it is expected to long as much as the other two phones.

Realme 1 vs Redmi 5 Which Is A Better Smartphone?

After comparing the specifications of the Redmi 5 and Realme 1, it looks like the Realme 1 has a more attractive design, better screen, better rear-facing camera, faster processor, a newer version of Android, and a larger battery.
However, we should also note that there’s a chance of Realme 1 getting launched with a higher price (around Rs. 15,000), so if your budget isn’t that high, you should go with the Redmi 5.
